Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. seeks a Senior Enterprise Architect focused on AI to guide technical design for key decision-makers and help maximize Akamai's AI and edge offerings.

You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to identify AI workloads, design edge and cloud architectures, advocate emerging trends, and educate stakeholders on best practices while shaping future product direction.

Qualifications

• Have 12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, another related field or its equivalent.
• Be proficient with scripting languages and development to help create automation on our platforms.
• Possess the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Have the ability to be a technical consultant to our customers and build effective and strategic relationships.
• Be able to analyze data, provide actionable solutions and thought leadership to internal and external stakeholders
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to present to various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identifying customer AI and enterprise workload opportunities with sales teams, ensuring success through Akamai cloud, delivery, and security adoption.
• Facilitating the design and implementation of Akamai Edge, Compute, and Security solutions, APIs, and architectures for advanced AI workloads.
• Guiding customers in choosing the most suitable AI frameworks, tools and technologies for their needs.
• Collaborating with data scientists, engineers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and ongoing performance of AI solutions.
• Leading innovation by advocating emerging trends, shaping product roadmaps and partnering with Product Management and R&D teams to develop future product direction and strategy.
• Providing technical thought leadership and guidance to educate peers on best practices and current technology trends.
• Establishing technical thought leadership in AI and cloud/edge computing to support Akamai's business growth strategies.
• Partnering with Product Management and Research & Development teams to develop future product direction and strategy.

As a Senior Enterprise Architect focused on AI, you will advise and lead technical design for key decision-makers. Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $139,300 - $250,700/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
