Job summary

V Group Inc. seeks an experienced IT Security/Architect to support Health Commerce System in Albany.

You will help design secure, scalable Java-based applications and infrastructure diagrams, ensuring robust security controls across services. Responsibilities include architecting platforms, documenting architectures, and implementing security features such as Single Sign-On, OAuth, and Multi-Factor Authentication within a PaaS/IaaS/SaaS framework.

Qualifications

• 7+ years architecting service-oriented platforms and SaaS environments.
• Experience designing secure applications using SAML, OAuth and MFA.
• Led technical architecture on complex systems with strong governance.

Responsibilities

• Help architect, develop and debug Java applications to support Health Commerce System.
• Create diagrams and documentation for application and infrastructure architecture.

Job description

Support the Department of Health and Health Commerce System infrastructure with expertise in physical security, IT security architecture, infrastructure platforms, application security, monitoring, tool administration/management and related business processes and workflows

Responsibilities:

• Help architect, develop and debug Java applications to support Health Commerce System.
• Create diagrams and documentation for application and infrastructure architecture.
• Design and implement security features like Single Sign, OAUTH on and Multi Factor Authentication
• Design and implement services to be used in a platform as a service architecture.

Required Skills:

• 84 Months experience architecting service-oriented architecture, platform as a service, infrastructure as a service and software as a service using IBM Datapower, WSO2 API Manager, WSO2 Identity Manager.
• 84 Months experience designing secure applications using security APIs, transport and message layer security, encryption and decryption algorithms for data security, SAML, OAuth, Multi factor authentication
• 84 Months experience as lead technical architect on technical projects that have required a thorough understanding of systems architecture, engineering, administration, configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and preventative maintenance and security procedures.
• 36 Months experience in Google Cloud Identity Platform services.
• 36 Months experience of application deployment and monitoring using continuous Integration systems and application monitoring tools.
