The position requires a strong background in engineering technology, plus extensive experience; you will mentor early career engineers, develop curriculum, and coordinate projects with cross-functional teams to advance company goals.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree in engineering technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years related work experience; or 10 years with high school/GED.
• Hybrid work arrangement; commute to Duke Energy facility.
• Travel up to 15–25% and relocation assistance as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provides subject matter expertise and guidance to identify, analyze and resolve problems.
• Leads planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling and monitoring of work activities.
• Prepares thorough technical reports, calculations and sketches and recommends actions.
• Conducts engineering studies and coordinates changes with teams to implement industry best practices.
• Develops curriculum to train others in the subject area.
• Builds positive relationships and maintains records; communicates effectively.
• Supports company goals and represents Duke Energy professionally.
• Coaches and mentors Engineers and Technologists.
