Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Ability to read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, flow charts and use logical troubleshooting techniques.
• Must have good communication skills and interface well with others.

Responsibilities

• Constructing or disassembling components, subunits, or simple models; adapt standard equipment.
• Follow specific layouts, procedures, drawings, or diagrams to assemble/tear down undersea sensor components.
• Conduct electrical or mechanical tests or experiments and record test data.
• Extract and compile engineering data from field notes, manuals, or reports and identify data inconsistencies.
• Assist in design modification by compiling data related to design, specifications, and materials.
