Vickers and Nolan Enterprises (VNE) is seeking a TS/SCI/CI Poly cleared Engineering Technician VI in Charleston, SC. The role requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with extensive experience in engineering tasks and systems support for government projects.

The position covers engineering, testing, configuration management, cybersecurity, and program management support. Minimum qualifications include a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with 15 or 20+ years of experience, respectively.

• Experience: 15 years with Master’s; 20 years with Bachelor’s.

Responsibilities

• Constructing components, subunits, or simple models or adapting standard equipment; troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Following layout and diagrams to construct and package devices and subunits.
• Conducting tests or experiments with possible minor modifications and data recording.
• Extracting and compiling engineering data from field notes, manuals, or reports.
• Assisting in design modifications by compiling data and identifying data gaps.
