Qualifications

• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Welding and welding-prep experience, including orbital welding; certification required.

Responsibilities

• Develop or review designs by analyzing engineering data and preparing schematics, drawings, specs, and parts lists.
• Conduct complex tests or experiments, operate equipment, record data, and prepare reports.
• Construct prototypes and modify designs based on test results and data evaluation.
• Extract and compile engineering data from notes and reports, identify inconsistencies.
• Assist in design modifications by compiling data on specifications and materials.
• Work with electrical, electronic, or mechanical components or equipment.
• Handle non-routine assignments of substantial variety and complexity.
• Receive technical guidance from supervisors or engineers.
• Perform 20-30% welding and welding-prep tasks, including orbital welding.
• Operate water jets and assist in assembly of flight hardware.
