Qualifications

• Moderate understanding of machine tool operations and the types of machines used in fabrication of parts.
• Capabilites in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Must be able to interpret written instructions, interface with potential vendors, and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Compile and record production data from customer orders, work tickets, product specs, and worker sheets following prescribed procedures.
• Calculate production factors: item types/quantities, materials used, scrap, defects, and production rates for inventory records.
• Prepare requisitions for procurement of materials.
• Write production reports based on data compiled, tabulated and computed, following prescribed formats.
• Maintain files of documents used and prepared.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and manufacturing staff to determine capability of producing deliverables.
• Operate with a high degree of autonomy under the Manager.
