PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Sr Engineering Technician to support high-volume testing of precision hydraulic and pneumatic components in a fluid power manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes hands-on testing, reliability, and adherence to safety standards.

The candidate should be mechanically skilled, self-motivated, and able to perform repetitive tests while meeting quality and production goals. ITAR/EAR considerations apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4-6 years of relevant technical, testing, manufacturing, or related experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and test procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to make timely decisions and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume, repetitive testing of precision hydraulic and pneumatic components.
• Conduct high-pressure fluid power testing for commercial and military products.
• Set up, operate, and monitor test equipment.
• Troubleshoot test failures and equipment issues.
• Analyze test results and identify potential problems.
• Follow established test procedures, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Document testing activities and results accurately.
• Support improvements to testing methods, workflow, and production efficiency.
