Job summary

Epoch Biodesign in South San Francisco is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician to work alongside the Test Engineering team. You will coordinate critical testing programs for safety and performance of electric vehicle products. Ideal candidates should have at least 6 years of relevant experience and enjoy working in a collaborative and inclusive environment. The position offers a pay range of $42 - $52 per hour, with benefits including healthcare and flexible PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience working as a technician.
• Experience with electrical or mechanical product testing.
• Familiarity with maintaining and fabricating test fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and execute product tests related to safety and performance.
• Lead in-test reporting to the test engineering team.
• Collaborate with engineers during post-test analysis.

Skills

6+ years experience as a technician in automotive/EV, cleantech, or aerospace industries

Experience with sensors and documented test plans

Knowledge of data acquisition systems

Proficiency with welding and fabrication equipment

Experience maintaining a lab development environment

Experience towing trailers or RVs

Ability to create custom wire harnesses with little oversight
