Lam Research Corporation is seeking an Engineering Technician in the California Bay Area. You will support design, test, modification and assembly of electro-mechanical systems and specialized test equipment, referencing schematics for fault isolation and remediation.

The role requires hands-on testing, diagnostic work, and collaboration with engineers on prototypes. This position offers hybrid work options and a competitive salary in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Formación

• Requires 6+ years related experience in engineering/test/assembly environments.
• Proven ability to install, maintain, repair, test, or troubleshoot electronic equipment.
• Strong written and verbal English communication; proficient with data systems and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting using schematics and plans.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical subsystems and components.
• Inspect materials and measure circuitry with precision instruments.
• Conduct operational tests and fault isolation to remedy malfunctions.
• Use oscilloscopes, signal generators, and test apparatus to diagnose issues.
• Collaborate with development engineers on prototypes and models.
