Job summary

Helion in Everett, WA seeks an Engineering Technician to develop and maintain fusion generators, assist with hardware builds, and coach technicians on the BuildTeam. You will design fixtures, lead full-scale builds, and contribute to maintenance procedures and tooling development.

You will report directly to the Build Manager, collaborate with engineers, and perform mechanical and electrical tests while ensuring safety and quality throughout production.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Mechanical or Electrical Technician.
  • Experience with light fabrication tools (power tools, mills, lathes, etc.).
  • Experience with CAD modeling.
  • Read and understand technical drawings, manuals, and reports.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) for documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and managers to design, assemble, test, and troubleshoot electromechanical systems and fixtures.
  • Design and fabricate fixtures and jigs to aid in the assembly/repair of electromechanical components.
  • Own process development and work instruction creation for energy bank maintenance.
  • Design, build, and perform mechanical and electrical tests on parts and assemblies.
  • Ensure safety and quality standards are met throughout the production process.
  • Be able to squat, reach, climb, and stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50lbs.

What You Will Be Doing:

We are hiring an Engineering Technician to develop and maintain Helion's fusiongenerators and maintenance process, procedures, and tooling. You Will:

Required Skills:
