Hamilton County Government is seeking a skilled engineering support professional to assist in drafting, surveying, and project documentation. The role includes updating drawings, conducting field surveys, and maintaining records for county projects.
The candidate will supervise engineering technicians and provide technical support, with an emphasis on accuracy, compliance with policy, and reliable report filing. A driver’s license is required for site visits.
Under close supervision, performs a variety of engineering and technical support duties such as drafting and computer aided design drawings and updates, surveying, project record keeping, and assembling and filing reports in support of the engineering projects.
Prior to operating a County-owned vehicle, all employees are required to complete the HC Defensive Driving course and/or or an Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC) provided at the department level.
Work requires moderate physical effort with intermittent sitting, standing, walking and driving with occasional lifting of up to twenty-five (25) pounds. Regular visits to project work sites are required.
