Clayton County Water Authority is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician to design and review AutoCAD drawings for water, sewer, and stormwater systems. You will assist customers with inquiries and support project delivery with GIS and CAD tools.

The purpose of this position is to conduct and provide guidance in planning, designing, reviewing, and revising electronic drawings, and AutoCAD for water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater systems and to assist customers with water and sewer inquiries.
High School or GED required, plus three (3) years of related work experience in computer-aided design; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
Skills in using ACAD, ACAD Civil3d, ArcMap 16, Microsoft Office, and MicroStation.
Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in performance of the essential functions and learn, comprehend, and apply all CCWA or departmental policies, practices, and procedures necessary to function effectively in the position.
This position classifies the physical exertion requirements as light work involving lifting no more than 20 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Even though the weight lifted may be very little, a job is in this category when it requires a good deal of walking or standing, or when it involves sitting most of the time with some pushing and pulling of arm or leg controls. To be considered capable of performing a full or wide range of light work, one must have the ability to do substantially all of these activities. If someone can do light work, then he or she can alsodo sedentary work, unless there are additional limiting factors such as loss of fine dexterity or inability to sit for long periods of time. Tasks typically involving some combination of stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling; tasks may also involve some pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of moderate weight.
Performance of essential functions may require exposure to adverse environmental conditions, such as dirt, dust, pollen, wetness, humidity, rain, fumes, temperature, noise extremes, or machinery. Work is performed in a relatively safe, secure, and stable work environment.
