Job summary

Thermo Systems is seeking a Senior Engineering Team Lead to build and manage a high-performance engineering group. The role focuses on leadership, organizational development, and ensuring safe, successful project execution with limited hands-on work.

The position requires 10+ years of tech/leadership experience and 3+ years as a team lead, with travel up to 50% and onsite work at multiple offices in the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or CS with relevant experience.
• 10+ years total technical and management experience.
• 3+ years as Engineering Team Lead or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise safety, training, development, and career progression of team members.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard engineers from entry to senior levels.
• Manage team compensation, time off, performance, and retention.
• Ensure team alignment with Thermo’s quality standards and site procedures.
• Guide task estimation, scheduling, and budget adherence for projects.
• Mentor colleagues during start-up and commissioning of systems.
