You will collaborate across functional teams and product companies to integrate digital connectivity technologies – including Ethernet, cellular, LoRaWAN, and Bluetooth® connectivity – into Emerson’s instrument portfolio. This position requires a hands‑on leader with a technical background and proven project management skills, such as delivering new products and cross‑business collaboration, to deliver portfolio‑wide impact.

Our customers span across many industries, including chemical, oil & gas, municipality, and pharmaceutical companies. Specifically, our products transmit pressure, temperature, flow, level, and other critical measurements back to a control system. This role is based on‑site four days a week.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Develop and implement plans for new product development projects
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define project scope, goals, requirements, and deliverables
  • Monitor project progress, manage risk, and implement mitigating actions as needed
  • Coordinate internal resources and potentially third‑party/vendor partnerships
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and scope
  • Cultivate collaboration, learning, and innovation, serving as a mentor and coach to team members
  • Establish and maintain relationships and trust with key collaborators and stakeholders
  • Provide timely communication to collaborators and executives that include project updates
Who You Are:

You effectively communicate in various settings: one‑on‑one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels. You show consistency between words and actions. You deal constructively with problems that do not have clear solutions or outcomes. You stage activities with relevant milestones and schedules. You apply knowledge of internal structures, processes, and culture to resourcing efforts. You enjoy learning about new technologies and tools to solve technical and business needs.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline
  • Five (5) or more years of applicable experience
  • Ability to meet with globally distributed team members occasionally
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided for this position
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future. Individuals with temporary visas such as E, F‑1 (including those with OPT or CPT), H‑1, H‑2, L‑1, B, J or TN, or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, are not eligible for hire.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools (Jira, etc.)
  • New product development experience
  • Experience with international and/or cross‑functional teams
  • Familiarity with functional safety (IEC 61508), hazardous location approvals, and/or cybersecurity (IEC 62443 and EU CRA)
  • Familiarity with Bluetooth ®, Ethernet, cellular, and/or LoRaWAN
  • Familiarity with industrial protocols (HART, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, etc.)
  • Master’s Degree and/or PMP certification
Our Culture & Commitment to You:
  • We provide a market‑leading 401(k) and profit‑sharing plan
  • A variety of medical insurance plans, with dental and vision coverage
  • Family formation benefits in addition to paid parental leave (maternal and paternal)
  • Employee Assistance Program
