Job summary

Terracon in Charleston, WV seeks an experienced project manager to lead large-scale engineering projects across facilities, environmental, or geotechnical domains. You will ensure safety, schedule adherence, and budget compliance while coordinating with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities include defining scope, developing plans, managing resources, and reporting progress to stakeholders. A PE/PG or equivalent certification is preferred; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, or geology with 10+ years of related experience, or 14 years without a degree.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of a large-scale, complex project.
• Define project scope, schedule and budget with client or NAM.
• Lead interactions with client and stakeholders to ensure goals are considered.
• Develop and implement a project plan for completion.
• Lead safety efforts including adherence to approved safety plan.
• Coordinate resources, schedules, budgets, and forecasts to meet targets.
• Prepare designs and work specifications; estimate costs and time.
