Job summary

Terracon is seeking a project manager/engineer to oversee facilities, environmental, or geotechnical engineering projects in the United States. The role focuses on delivering safe, on-time projects within budget while coordinating internal staff and external contractors.

The position requires a technical degree (Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology) and 2+ years of related experience, or 6 years without a degree, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Engineering, Environmental Science or Geology) and a minimum of 2 years’ related experience; or 6 years’ related experience in lieu of degree.
• A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a facilities, materials, environmental, or geotechnical engineering project to safely complete on time and within scope and budget.
• Monitor progress against the project plan and prepare reports for the client and project team.
• Coordinate outside contractors and vendors to ensure service quality and adherence to contract.
• Lead safety efforts including preparation and compliance with the approved safety plan.
• Estimate costs, resources, and time for the assigned project phase and monitor progress to meet targets.
• Communicate project status to client and APR stakeholders and prepare regular meetings and deliverables.
