General Dynamics Mission Systems seeks a Senior Engineering Program Manager in Bloomington, MN.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related field, with at least 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance at hire; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, monitoring, and control of development programs.
• Manage performance, cost, scope, and schedule for engineering efforts, including subcontracted work.
• Ensure high-quality, timely deliverables and documentation.
• Manage technical risks and opportunities.
• Conduct monthly status reviews and resolve technical issues.
• Recognize team contributions and address performance issues promptly.
• Assist in proposal and ROM development.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• 8+ years project management experience leading hardware/software teams.
• 5+ years technical experience, preferably with embedded systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
• Knowledge of waterfall and agile methodologies.
• Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.

Additional Information

Target salary: USD $172,232 - $181,970 per year. Salary varies based on experience, location, etc. The position remains open until filled.
