Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for the Threat Application Services team within Cloudforce One. You will lead a team of engineers building and scaling the Threat Events platform, external Threat Intel APIs, and back-end systems that ingest and distribute IOCs into products like WAF and Gateway for automated mitigation.

You will also drive hiring to expand our engineering capabilities and help build agentic threat intelligence tools for real‑time defense.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with Go, JavaScript, or distributed systems.
• Experience leading engineering teams and shaping architectural direction.
• Knowledge of threat intelligence, IOCs, and security operations.

Responsibilities

• Own architectural direction and operational excellence for services your team owns.
• Drive professional development and mentorship of direct reports.
• Collaborate with PMs and security researchers to turn threat data into automated experiences.
• Lead hiring efforts to scale the Threat Application Services team.
