Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/engineering.
• 9+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in ad tech.
• 5+ years in engineering management.
• Experience designing scalable, observable production systems.
• Ability to build and operate high-volume data services.
• Experience with ML in low-latency environments.
• Strong data literacy and data-driven decision making.
• Experience applying AI to improve speed and quality of outputs.

Responsibilities

• Make key architectural decisions across the ad server tech stack and integration points.
• Own the independence roadmap, assessing current state, ownership, and resourcing.
• Lead subteams (bidder, index building, VAST serving) and plan milestones.
• Collaborate with Pinterest on bidder integration milestones and delivery.
• Identify opportunities for shared components and infra with Pinterest.
• Contribute to strategic tech roadmap and architecture for the Ad Server team.
• Scale the team over time and support a multidisciplinary engineering org.
