Job summary
Nike Inc is seeking a senior engineering manager within Global Technology’s Consumer Product and Innovation organization, to drive end‑to‑end product ownership for athlete-facing experiences. You’ll translate goals into technical requirements, manage a prioritized roadmap, and lead architectural decisions across front-end and back-end services.
You will partner with researchers, designers, data scientists, and engineers in the LeBron James Innovation Center to scale experiences beyond the lab
Qualifications
- Strong communication translating business/research goals into technical requirements.
- Experience owning a product roadmap and backlog prioritization with stakeholders.
- Expert in designing/building consuming reliable, secure web services for front end use.
- Experience with consumer-facing web UI using modular reactive frameworks.
- Understand data differences between analytical and transactional data and their impact on system design.
Responsibilities
- Own and communicate a product roadmap; partner with business stakeholders to drive decisions.
- Translate ambiguous goals into clear product requirements and a groomed backlog.
- Lead architectural design discussions grounded in best practices and prior experience.
- Review designs, code, and tests; provide constructive feedback and questions.
- Foster collaboration, experimentation, and mentoring; support growth of direct reports.
