Job summary
WEX Inc. is seeking a seasoned Manager of Engineering for the 10-4 by WEX product line that serves owners-operator fleets with mobility payments.
You will lead a cross-regional team across the USA and Brazil, shaping technical vision and roadmap while partnering with product and sales to align customer needs. Responsibilities include hands-on architecture across mobile apps and backend services, delivering end-to-end projects, and fostering a high-performing culture with ongoing career
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- 10+ years in software engineering with 4+ years in engineering management.
- Hands-on mobile development experience and distributed systems expertise.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a long-term vision and strategy for the product.
- Drive customer-focused roadmaps and align with product and sales.
- Own the architectural roadmap for mobile apps and backend services.
- Lead cross-region engineering teams and drive execution.
- Foster a culture of innovation, learning, and performance.
