Job summary

Boeing is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the AEOS Engineering Department in Albuquerque, NM. This onsite role guides a 100+ person engineering team across electro-optical systems, driving strategy, budgets, and execution to deliver mission-ready hardware and software.

You will define the technical vision, develop people and processes, and work closely with customers and program leadership to ensure first-time quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; 5+ years of leading or managing an engineering project or team.
• Product development and systems engineering experience.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for security clearance / vetting within last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a diverse team across electro-optical systems, sensors, and integration & test.
• Set strategy and roadmaps for AEOS capabilities with budgets and measurable outcomes.
• Improve engineering processes, tools, and metrics driving technical excellence and on-contract performance.
• Provide technical oversight of architectures, designs, analyses, and test plans.
• Foster an inclusive culture and mentor talent to ensure readiness and growth.
