Job summary

Super Technologies is seeking a hands-on Senior Engineering Manager for Applied Machine Learning & Research to lead a team of 4-5 data scientists and ML engineers, balancing research with production ML and guiding projects aligned to business goals. You will design and deploy ML models, review code, coordinate with product, and foster a collaborative environment while staying close to the code.

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of hands-on ML and data science experience.
• 5+ years in engineering leadership or people management.
• Strong Python and ML framework skills (TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX).
• Cloud experience (AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced ML models for business problems.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a 4-5 person data science/ML team.
• Coordinate ML projects across product, data, and engineering teams.
• Ensure robust MLops, code reviews, and deployment best practices.
