Job summary

The Princeton Review is modernizing its engineering organization, seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers from conception to production support. You will implement CI/CD, AI-assisted development, and scalable architectures while coaching engineers to own their work end-to-end.

Reporting to the VP Engineering, you will drive a culture of continuous learning, set clear expectations, and partner with Product and Design to translate business goals into technical plans.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with 3+ years of people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and hands-on contribution to code, architecture, and design while guiding the team.
• Design and implement modern engineering practices (CI/CD, automated testing, code review, feature flagging, static analysis).
• Mentor engineers, coach career development, and foster psychological safety within the team.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to translate goals into technical plans and ensure execution.
