Sr. Engineering Manager – Salesforce Experience Cloud:

Our client is looking for a seasoned Sr. Engineering Manager with deep expertise in Salesforce Experience Cloud to lead the development and delivery of scalable, customer-facing portals. This role requires a strategic, hands-on leader who can manage multiple Experience Cloud initiatives while mentoring a cross-functional team of developers, business systems analysts, and QA engineers.

You will be responsible for driving technical execution, partnering with stakeholders, and delivering impactful digital solutions that support business growth. This is an excellent opportunity to lead high-visibility projects in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Delivery

• Manage and mentor a team of Salesforce developers, QA engineers, and business systems analysts
• Drive the successful end-to-end delivery of multiple Experience Cloud sites, ensuring timelines, scope, and quality standards are met
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and guidance in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative Salesforce tools
• Partner with stakeholders, UX/UI teams, architects, and product managers to define and translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Navigate ambiguity, resolve blockers, and ensure consistent project momentum through data-driven decisions

Technical Oversight

• Oversee technical implementation across multiple initiatives, ensuring alignment with platform architecture, governance, and security standards
• Stay current on Salesforce product updates and best practices to continuously improve platform functionality

Quality & Process Management

• Implement and maintain robust QA processes, including code reviews and automated testing
• Lead Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and promote best practices in Agile software development

Qualifications:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

Experience

• 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, including substantial Experience Cloud project delivery
• 2+ years in a leadership or engineering management role overseeing cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated success leading customer-facing Experience Cloud initiatives

Technical Expertise

• Strong proficiency in Apex, LWC, and Salesforce declarative development
• Deep understanding of Experience Cloud architecture, sharing models, and customization capabilities
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines in a Salesforce environment

Certifications (Preferred)

• Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant
• Platform Developer I or II

Additional Qualifications

• Experience working with other Salesforce Clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud)
• Understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices for community portals
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills
