TWG Engineering | The Will Group is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager – Electrical Distribution in Shorewood, IL to lead engineering teams delivering critical utility infrastructure programs for ComEd and other Exelon clients. This remote-focused role requires a hands-on leader who mentors engineers and ensures high-quality, on-time delivery.

You will manage overhead and underground distribution projects, collaborate with stakeholders, and uphold utility standards while driving performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical distribution engineering.
• 3+ years of engineering leadership or project management experience.
• Experience with utility clients such as ComEd or other Exelon companies.
• Strong understanding of overhead and underground distribution systems.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage engineers and designers supporting electrical distribution programs.
• Oversee project scope, schedules, budgets, and quality expectations.
• Coordinate with internal teams and utility stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
