Atlys is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead Backend, AI, and Infrastructure teams. You will set technical direction, build leaders, and ensure scalable systems as product traffic grows.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering leadership experience, including managing multiple teams.
• Proven track record building and scaling cloud platforms with focus on reliability and velocity.
• Strong experience hiring, coaching and developing senior engineers and managers.
• Deep technical exposure to AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD, observability or SRE systems.

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead three of the most critical engineering teams at Atlys: Backend, AI and Infrastructure.
You’ll own these teams end to end, setting technical direction, building strong engineering leaders, and ensuring the systems behind Atlys can scale as our product, traffic and complexity grow.
This is a senior leadership role spanning core product systems, AI capabilities and platform reliability. You’ll work closely with Engineering leadership, Product and other teams to turn ambitious product goals into fast, reliable execution.

• Turn AI into a core product and operational advantage by building systems that embed intelligence across Atlys.


• Strengthen infrastructure and developer velocity through better deployment systems, observability, automation and internal tooling.


• Build an engineering organisation that scales by hiring exceptional talent, developing managers and senior engineers, and setting a high technical bar.


• Reduce operational complexity through platform engineering and Infrastructure as Code, enabling product teams to ship faster with less dependency.

The Ideal Candidate

You’ll Likely Thrive In This Role If You

• Have 10+ years of engineering experience, including experience leading multiple engineering teams or managers in a high-growth environment.


• Have built and scaled cloud platforms or consumer technology where reliability, performance and engineering velocity were critical.


• Have a strong track record of hiring, coaching and growing engineers and engineering leaders, while maintaining a high bar for ownership and execution.


• Bring deep experience across AWS or GCP, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, observability or SRE systems.


• Have worked on developer platforms, automation systems, AI infrastructure or large-scale signals/data platforms.
