Job summary

Pella is seeking a Sr. Engineer Technical Leader in its Product and R&D group to drive complex engineering initiatives from concept to implementation. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, mentor engineers, and deliver high-quality, cost-conscious products and processes.

The role requires strong problem-solving, communication, and project leadership, with travel to other sites as needed and a steady focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years combined engineering experience within 2-3 disciplines (Process, Product, CI, Project, Quality, Plant).
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Math, or relevant Science or combination of education and experience. Masters Degree preferred in Engineering, Math, or relevant Science.
• 7+ years of experience in product engineering and related fields.

Responsibilities

• Develop and commercialize products and technologies.
• Prepare cost estimates and continually analyze design variables.
• Build prototypes, products, and systems for testing.
• Ensure final product meets needs as defined by project.
• Design testing procedures and coordinate testing to identify problems and solutions.
• Provide user training and technical support.
• Coordinate and communicate work effort within organization.
• Travel to other sites and divisions as required.
