Qualifications

• Significant experience leading engineering teams in AI/ML, personalization, or consumer-facing AI systems.
• Lead by example, manage managers and senior technical leaders across complex spaces.
• Strong track record of driving strategy and execution for large-scale AI organizations.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive organizational and technical strategy for AI Foundations and Proactive Experiences.
• Build and lead a high-performing engineering organization across multiple workstreams.
• Partner with Product, Design, Research, and Data Science to shape the roadmap for proactive Pinterest experiences.
• Lead development of foundational AI capabilities enabling contextual, personalized experiences.
• Drive multi-year roadmap for reusable AI capabilities across surfaces and use cases.
• Raise the bar on engineering excellence, reliability, privacy, security, and cost efficiency.
• Establish operating mechanisms for direction, delivery, and dependency management.
• Hire, retain, and grow exceptional talent and nurture leadership.
