Job summary

Enovis Corporation in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Engineering Supervisor for Extremities to lead the design and development of orthopedic instruments and implants used in shoulder arthroplasty. You will manage a team of engineers and collaborate with product development, manufacturing, regulatory, and QA to ensure robust medical devices.

The role requires hands-on CAD work (SolidWorks or NX), risk assessments, Design History Files, and adherence to FDA/ISO standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering and 6+ years design experience.
• Proficient in 3D CAD (SolidWorks or NX).
• Ability to present information to managers, clients, and customers.
• Regulatory and quality awareness desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop lower-level engineers and co-ops.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Regulatory, and QA.
• Create design documentation, risk assessments, and test plans.
