Job summary

Enovis is seeking a Sr. Supervisor Engineering, Extremities in Austin, TX. You will lead a team of engineers, drive cross-functional New Product Development, and guide design from proposal through release for orthopedic instruments and implants.

You will mentor staff, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure compliance with FDA/ISO requirements while collaborating with marketing, manufacturing, and regulatory teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.
• 6+ years design/development experience.
• Experience with 3D CAD packages.
• Ability to present to groups of managers, clients, and customers.
• Ability to work in varied environments including lab and office.
• Knowledge of Word processing, spreadsheets, internet software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage lower level engineering personnel.
• Participate in New Product Development Team and incorporate surgeon design requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on tasks and plans.
• Create designs and documentation for DHF and design history files.
• Utilize 3D modeling (SolidWorks) to develop concepts and mechanisms.
• Maintain project schedules and budgets; ensure FDA/ISO compliance.
