Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Manager, Software Development to lead engineering teams building Performance Measurement systems. You will own teams delivering deterministic and modeled views of ad outcomes across channels and devices, with petabyte-scale pipelines and real-time/batch attribution.

You will drive technical strategy, partner with scientists, and lead initiatives balancing measurement precision with latency and privacy.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience.
• 5+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent programs in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead 30-50 engineers across multiple teams owning petabyte-scale data pipelines.
• Own real-time and batch attribution systems and experimentation infrastructure.
• Define system architectures and multi-year technical strategy with senior leadership.
• Partner with scientists to translate research into production-grade systems.
• Drive AI-native development practices to accelerate engineering velocity.
