• Provide direction, oversight, and coaching for a team of entry-level to mid-level software engineers that work on basic to moderately complex tasks.
• Accountable for decisions that influence teams' resources, budget, tactical operations, and the execution and implementation of processes and procedures.
• Lead the end-to-end design and development of software solutions, from requirements to production deployment and support.
• Build and maintain backend services using Java/Python (including Spring) and modern API patterns; Deliver full stack capabilities with React and backend APIs.
• Design and implement data pipelines and processing solutions leveraging Databricks (Spark-based patterns) and cloud data services; Build cloud-native solutions on AWS (EMR, Glue, ECS/EKS, RDS, Lambda, Step Functions).
• Design, integrate, and operationalize AI/ML and LLM-powered features with engineering rigor (testing, monitoring, governance).
• Provide input to leadership regarding budget, approach, and technical considerations to improve operational efficiencies.
