Are you ready to elevate manufacturing quality with cutting-edge technology? We’re seeking a Senior Engineering Lab Technician to join our Metrology Lab team in Laundry Operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where innovation meets precision, this is the role for you!What You’ll Do:
Be the go-to expert for metrology and scanning, ensuring compliance with Product and Factory Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Utilize advanced tools like CMM and 3D scanners to conduct detailed inspections of production parts.
Collaborate with engineers on New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, creating templates, developing measurement plans, and driving quality from concept to production.
Leverage 3D metrology to expedite root cause analyses, validate parts and tools, and achieve world-class quality.
Train team members on metrology equipment and software, fostering a culture of precision and excellence.
Maintain and manage calibration processes and uphold quality standards in the lab.
Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Metrology or Dimensional Engineering.
Experienced in 3D metrology and model-based inspection methods using CMM, structured light scanning, laser, CT x-ray, or measuring arm.
Experienced in conducting dimensional analysis of parts and assemblies using 3D metrology data from scanning, CMM, using Polyworks inspection software or similar.
Experience using inspection software such as PolyWorks, GOM ATOS, or similar.
Knowledge in part and assembly modeling using PTC Creo and Windchill PLM, or similar program.
Experienced reading, interpreting, and applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing per ASME Y14.5 GD&T Standard.
Experienced the application of model-based definition, interpreting and defining inspection routines using GD&T based MBD annotations.
Proficient in working with digital tools and CAD-based digital engineering software.
