Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. in the United States seeks a Senior Engineering Designer to support engineering project coordination, perform critical calculations, interpret drawings, and ensure design quality across disciplines.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, visit sites for data collection, review shop drawings, and help ensure ISO compliance and project delivery within budget and schedule. Strong communication and technical writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-Accredited Program.
• Strong proficiency in design software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, or Revit.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good communication and technical writing skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, conducts and coordinates detailed phases of the engineering work in part of a major project.
• Coordinate the work of multiple engineering disciplines and perform drafting/CADD work as needed.
• Perform engineering calculations, interpret drawings and specifications.
• Review and approve shop drawings to meet project requirements.
• Attend meetings with the project team to discuss progress and tasks.
• Ensure ISO compliance and project delivery within budget and scope.
