Job summary

OPmobility in Greer, SC seeks an Engineering Process Leader - Assembly to drive health, safety, quality and efficient manufacturing. You will lead the Manufacturing Engineering Assembly team, recruit and develop talent, and ensure project alignment with OPTIMAP and KEOPS standards.

You will define and validate assembly processes, monitor cycle time and OEE, manage resources and budgets, support suppliers, and push continuous improvement across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with relevant experience, or master's degree in mechanical, electrical, or automation.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, ergonomics and industrial risk prevention.
• Solid background in assembly techniques and industrial equipment.
• External candidates: experience with a Tier 1 automotive supplier.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Manufacturing Engineering Assembly team and manage day-to-day activities.
• Ensure safety, ergonomics and quality in all assembly processes.
• Drive project-related activities including OPTIMAP, OPTIPRO, and POMS standards.
• Manage resources, budgets, and supplier interactions to meet project targets.
• Support continuous improvement and knowledge transfer across the department.
