Stanley Consultants is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer/Senior Project Manager for our Phoenix, AZ office. The role leads water, wastewater, and groundwater projects and manages municipal utility system planning, design, and construction services in Arizona.

The candidate will collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, I&C, structural teams, and provide leadership for market presence, marketing support, and staff mentoring. This is a hybrid position based in Phoenix.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• PE license in Arizona or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams to deliver water/wastewater projects.
• Present market papers and papers at local professional organizations.

Senior Engineer, Water/Wastewater

Location: Phoenix, AZ | Job Type: Hybrid

Stanley Consultants is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer / Senior Project Manager for our Phoenix, AZ office. Stanley Consultants is actively working in the Water/Wastewater Market in Arizona and needs additional leadership to maintain our current market presence while assisting our existing team to build Stanley’s water market presence. In doing so, this position will lead and deliver water, wastewater, and groundwater projects in the State of Arizona. This individual will be responsible for the development and management of all aspects of municipal water and wastewater utility system project planning, design, and services during construction.

• Work in collaboration with other disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, I&C, structural, and CAD) in producing plans and specifications.
• Assisting in marketing business opportunities with key clients and development of responses to RFPs/RFQs.
• Providing marketing and support during the procurement and execution of projects.
• Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients.
• Consistently managing and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Desire and ability to manage and mentor staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in either Civil Engineering, or Environmental Engineering.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Arizona is required or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire date.
• Arizona network of water/wastewater professionals/contacts.
• Regional and technical expertise in water and wastewater engineering.
• Active participation in professional organizations.
• Strong verbal, computer, and organizational skills.
• Excellent technical writing skills.
• Strong client relationship skills.
• Excellent design team leadership skills.
