Job summary

Qualus Corporation is seeking a Transmission Line Engineer to join our Project Management Organization. You will design transmission structures and power lines for high voltage applications, and you will prepare specifications, perform analyses, and support field activities from design through commissioning.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of experience with strong knowledge of structural design, and proficiency in PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and AutoCAD, with familiarity to NESC, IEC, and IEEE

Position Overview

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in transmission line design for high voltage applications.
• Strong knowledge of structural design and analysis principles and tools.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards such as NESC, IEC, and IEEE.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
