• 5+ years of experience in supplier quality engineering, preferably in aerospace or propulsion.
• Knowledge of AS9100, Nadcap, and AS9102 standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications, including GD&T.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance is required.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior SupplierQuality Engineerto overseesupplierqualityassurance activities and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all supplied materials and components meet our organization’squalitystandards, while fostering strong relationships withsuppliers.

What You'll Do...

• Develop and implementsupplierqualitystandards and processes specific to aerospace propulsion systems
• Evaluate and approvesuppliers through on-site audits and assessments, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as AS9100 and Nadcap
• Establishqualityagreements withsuppliers to define expectations, requirements, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Monitorsupplierperformance using metrics such as defect rates, on time delivery, and adherence to specifications
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes to resolvesupplier-relatedqualityissues
• Work withsuppliers to implement preventive measures and continuous improvement initiatives
• Oversee the qualification of propulsion components, including machined parts, raw materials and outside service providers
• Support the New Product Introduction (NPI) process by ensuringsupplierreadiness and validating first article inspections (FAI)
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensuresupplier capabilities align with design and manufacturing requirements
• Ensuresuppliercompliance with aerospace propulsion standards, such as AS9102 for FAI, Nadcap for special processes, and other relevant specifications
• Maintain thorough documentation ofsupplieraudits,qualityreports, and corrective action plans
• Support internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory inspections
• Work closely with procurement, engineering, and manufacturing teams to resolvesupplier-related challenges
• Provide technical support and guidance tosuppliers to enhance their processes and capabilities

You have...

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, or materials engineering (or a related field)
• 5+ years of experience insupplierqualityengineering, preferably in the aerospace or propulsion industry
• Strong understanding of aerospace propulsion systems and components
• Familiarity withqualitystandards such as AS9100, Nadcap, and AS9102
• Proficiency inqualitytools and methodologies, including root cause analysis, FMEA, and SPC
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications, including GD&T
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issues security clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance

• Experience with special processes such as heat treatment, welding, and coatings
• Proficiency inqualitymanagement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Minitab)

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $110,000-$137,000 base salary. Please note that wage information is a general guideline only, and we will consider factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, and market conditions when extending an offer.
