Archer Aviation in San Jose, CA is seeking a State Estimation Engineer to design and implement advanced sensor fusion for eVTOL aircraft, integrating with air data systems, INS, GNSS and other aviation sensors.
You will develop and verify state estimation algorithms in Simulink, drive modeling standards, perform V&V through simulation, HIL and flight testing, and collaborate with control, hardware and software teams to ensure safe, robust performance.

Minimum Education Requirement: Master’s in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related Engineering field.
Minimum Experience Requirement: 60 months of experience in sensor fusion algorithm development, modeling and simulation of sensors.
Alternate Education Requirement: PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Robotics or related Engineering field.
Alternate Experience Requirement: 36 months of experience in sensor fusion algorithm development, modeling and simulation of sensors.
