Capgemini is seeking an experienced Senior Embedded Multimedia & Safety Software Engineer to support the Ok2Book PoC on the AMD iRDK platform. You will lead integration and validation of safety monitoring subsystems and drive bring-up for camera and audio stacks in automotive-grade environments.

Role requires embedded Linux, multimedia frameworks, and safety-critical software development with strong hardware-software integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
• 7+ years of experience in Embedded Software Development
• Camera bringup with MIPI CSI-2, V4L2 and ISP integration
• Audio bringup with ALSA, audio HAL and codec integration (I2S, SoundWire, HDMI ARC)
• Safety subsystem integration: watchdog, health monitors, ASIL-aware SW development
• Linux kernel and multimedia frameworks such as GStreamer; C/C++, Python/Rust

Responsabilités

• Own camera subsystem bringup: MIPI CSI-2, ISP integration, V4L2, camera HAL, frame capture validation

• Interface with AMD on safety and multimedia driver support
• Validate ISO 26262-aware safety mechanisms against Ok2Book acceptance criteria
• Document multimedia and safety bring-up state for program gate review
