Senior Engineer/PM - Traffic

Job Location: US-TX-Houston | US-TX-Dallas

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of engineers and technicians designing and producing traffic engineering projects.
• Assist in analysis, design, and implementation of projects such as traffic impact studies, traffic operations studies, capacity analysis, traffic signal design, signal timing, signing, striping, lighting, and traffic control plans.
• Communicate effectively both in writing and orally.
• Utilize traffic analysis software (Synchro, HCS, Arc GIS, VISSIM, TransCad).
• Understand local agency rules and regulations.
• Participate in our in-house staff learning and development program, MOORELearning.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering (transportation emphasis preferred).
• Texas P.E. required; PTOE preferred.
• 6 - 8 years of industry experience.
• Proficiency with traffic analysis software, including Synchro, HCS, Arc GIS, VISSIM, TransCad.
• Knowledge of state and local rules, regulations, standards, and procedures is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
