Job summary

Banda Group International is seeking an Engineer IV to support facility design, operation, and maintenance in plutonium facility environments. You will perform advanced analyses, develop design solutions, and drive project execution with multidisciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes DOE/NNSA compliance, leadership responsibilities, and rapid response for operational challenges. A strong engineering background, communication skills, and the ability to mentor junior engineers are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university (minimum 9 years of related experience as applicable).
• Experience in engineering design, analysis, and project support in industrial, nuclear, or construction environments.
• Knowledge of codes/standards (ASCE, ASME, NQA-1, IBC, IEEE, NFPA, NEC).
• Ability to obtain/maintain DOE Q clearance and HRP participation.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex engineering design and analysis in support of facility design, operations, and maintenance.
• Develop and review engineering design packages and technical documentation.
• Support construction activities, including field support and design integration.
• Apply codes and standards to engineering work and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support system integration and project execution.
• Lead projects or tasks and mentor junior engineers.
• Identify and implement process improvements to improve efficiency and quality.
• Utilize CAD/design tools to develop and review solutions.
• Support rapid response engineering for facility needs and operations.
