Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a skilled BIM Manager to oversee digital design methods and workflows within its semiconductor manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will hold a Master's degree in a relevant field and have substantial experience in BIM, including software like Revit and Autocad. This role entails managing BIM processes, producing models, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality project delivery.

Responsible for the owner’s BIM workflows and digital design methods and technologies. Advancement of BIM methods, training, and the implementation of digital design standards. Identify and resolve issues with project team members and third-party contractors as well as collaborate on project management with multiple SAS design teams as well as contractors involved with model integration. Own, develop & oversee the production the BIM model for all disciplines (CSA & MEP). Create the BIM model under project direction. Oversee development of the model under direction from the project team and in coordination with other parties. Perform clash reports. Work at the direction of the lead to modify as-built drawings in 3D models, using point cloud data. Read and understand AutoCAD tool schematic designs, and interact closely with Facility Services, Unit Parts, GCS, PCS, EH&S, CRT and Line Planning. Execute project while meeting safety and schedule goals. Direct contract designers to execute design packages as needed. Participate in Design and Review as required. Manage stakeholders in a customer-service oriented team. Develop and modify site specifications to align with ongoing site improvements. Perform field investigation as required to support preparation of design drawings. Prepare final as-built documents. Assist when needed in Lidar Scanning and point cloud manipulation.
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Architecture, Regional Community Planning, or a related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Requires experience involving the following:
1. BIM Execution Planning;
2. Clash detection;
3. Revit, Autocad;
4. BIM 360 ACC;
5. MS Programs - Excel, Word, Power Point;
6. Dynamo Scripting and Automation; and
7. Top rated speaker.
