Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior software leader to drive AI-enabled enterprise solutions and a strategic technical roadmap. You will mentor teams, design observable AI workflows, and deliver resilient microservices across front-end, API, and back-end layers in a SaaS environment.

Required are hands-on expertise with Java, C#, Python, and cloud services, plus experience deploying AI/LLM in production and leading cross-functional technical initiatives in a US-based setting.

Qualifications

Experience designing AI/LLM experiments and production evaluation.
Shipped LLM or automation solutions in production.
Strong knowledge of agents, retrieval-augmented generation, and ML.
Experience integrating AI via APIs, events, authentication, and observability.
Familiarity with microservices and SaaS architectures.
Proven full-stack development with SaaS focus.
Expertise with GraphQL, gRPC, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services.
Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Bachelor's degree in CS or related field; U.S. work authorized.

Requirements

Exemplary ability to design and perform experiments, including AI/LLM evaluation, measurement, and iterative improvement in production
Extensive experience shipping LLM, generative AI, or intelligent automation solutions in production environments
Strong grasp of agents, retrieval-augmented generation, classical ML, rules-based workflows, and hybrid approaches
Experience integrating AI into enterprise services via APIs, events, authentication, and observability patterns
Understanding of agent architectures, workflow orchestration, vector retrieval, and knowledge/context design
Extensive full-stack application and service development experience, with focus on SaaS products/platforms
Expertise designing and developing microservices using GraphQL, gRPC, Java, Python, Kafka, API architectures, and event-driven architectures
Experience delivering highly resilient event-driven and messaging-based solutions at scale
Fluency and specialization in at least two modern OOP languages such as Java, C#, C++, or Python
Understanding of MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cosmos, Cassandra, Apache Trino, and NoSQL databases
Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle
Fluency in test engineering and automated testing, including evaluation and regression testing for non-deterministic AI components
6+ years of full-stack development experience
4+ years of architecture and design experience
2+ years of applied AI, generative AI, or intelligent automation experience in production, or demonstrable ownership of AI-enabled platform capabilities
2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
