Your work will define the next generation of cloud services, making developers' lives easier by building new services that enhance efficiency and introduce new features for our customers. What You'll Be Doing

• Contributing to new architecture development and major upgrades for our Application Platform.
• Collaborating with product teams to develop next-generation products and services for our developer community.
• Driving architecture decisions for complex systems, identifying limitations, and devising solutions.
• Participating in operational reliability through on-call rotations.
• Technologies used include: Kubernetes, Go, gRPC, MySQL, Istio, Prometheus, Cloud Native Buildpacks.

What We'll Expect From You

• Experience as a software engineer or developer building scalable software used by thousands.
• Proficiency in software development methodologies.
• Interest or experience in learning Golang and building APIs (gRPC).
• Operational knowledge of Kubernetes or eagerness to learn Kubernetes operations.
• Experience with Software Defined Networks (SDNs) is a plus.
• Ability to manage distributed systems in production.
• Focus on system reliability and performance.
• Involvement in all service lifecycle phases: conception, design, development, deployment, and operation.
• Commitment to monitoring and observability practices.
• Systems thinking and strong opinions, weakly held.
• Experience operating Kubernetes at large scale in production environments.
