A leading company is seeking a Senior Engineer to innovate and enhance systems, focusing on containerized applications. The role involves collaboration across teams, ensuring security and performance, and contributing to the Linux community. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services, along with a strong educational background in computer science.
Our Senior Engineer works with our Staff Engineers and Sr. Engineers to innovate and build new systems, improve, and enhance existing systems as well as identify new opportunities to apply your knowledge to solve critical problems. You will help in the delivery of high-quality products, unlocking new engineering capabilities. Additionally, you will maintain GEICO's operating systems, contribute to the upstream Linux community, and optimize runtimes for Java, GoLang, Node.js, Python, and .NET environments.

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate / annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
