Job summary

Qualifications

• MS degree in mechanical engineering preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering, design and development of complex mechanical systems including automation stages, wafer handling systems, reactors, vacuum chambers, and gas delivery systems.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to design systems and products for semiconductor equipment, focusing on mechatronics.
• Perform structural and thermal analyses and dynamic system modeling.
• Create and revise PRO/ENGINEER/CREO drawings and models from small parts to large assemblies.
• Evaluate feasibility of proposals, resolve issues using technical input, and develop new designs.
• Prepare engineering documentation for manufacturing and testing of prototypes and production releases.
• Lead project management tasks: reports, schedules, design reviews, cross-functional coordination.
• Present designs in reviews for customer-driven specials and new variations.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Snr.MechanicalEngineer to design and develop advancedhigh precision equipmentfor the semiconductorindustry . In this role, you will apply solid mechanical engineering fundamentals to solve complex design challenges, support new product development, and ensure reliable transition from design to manufacturing. Working closelywithcross functionalteams, you will help drive product quality, performance, and innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Apply sound engineering principles, productspecificationsand research data to create designs for systems and products for semiconductorindustry, with emphasis on mechatronicsproducts.
• Perform engineering calculations including structural and thermal analysisanddynamic systems modeling.
• Create and revisePRO-Engineer/CREOCAD models and detail drawings, ranging in complexity from simple piece parts to large assemblies.
• Determinefeasibility of product proposals, resolve problems based on technicalinputsand developnew designsmaintainingproduct design safety criteria.
• Prepare product/system designs and related engineering documentation for the manufacturing and testing of prototype andproductionreleased products. The documentation shall be complete and easy to follow.
• Project management duties include report generation, schedule creation and maintenance, designreviewsand interdepartmental coordination.
• Present andparticipatein design reviews for uniquecustomer drivenspecials, prodottienhancementsand othernew designs.
• Create,manageand execute engineering project plans, including task scheduling with Gantt charts and resource and cost estimates, using MS Project.
• Travel to customer sites toparticipatein technical discussions.
• Support projects in conjunction with technical staff,managers,and manufacturing groups. Support development and testing of hardware to verify performance. Create test plans,verify,and approve test procedures.
• Interface with other organizations on new productupdates andensure a smooth transition of the product into the manufacturing cycle.
• Evaluate change requests and complete all aspects of engineering change orders.
• Create and maintain bill of materials and sub-system level product structuring.
• Manage hardware CIP development through product life cycle.

Education

• MS degree in mechanical engineering or related degree highly preferred.
• Minimum3 years of experience in the engineering, design, and development of complex mechanical systemsincluding automation stages, wafer handlingsystems,reactors, vacuum chambers, and gasdelivery systemsrequired.

Skills

• Semiconductor capital equipment or heavy capital equipment preferred.
• Computer background in Microsoft applications,CREOand AutoCAD.
• Understanding of materials: metals, plastics, surfacecoatingsand surface finishes.
• Proficiencyin ASME Y14.5 and/or ISO 1101:2017 preferred geometric dimension and tolerance
• Knowledgeable in the requirements for CE, NFPA, Semi S2-95 and other relevant standards as applicable to semiconductor manufacturingequipmenta plus.
• Demonstrated passion for Mechatronics in the form of robotics, industrial automation, and/or sensing/computer vision.
• Knowledge of PLCs and control systems, including hardware and software such as Modbus TCP/IP andEtherCAT, is a plus
• Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink or Python to create custom analysis and visualization appsis a plus.
• Has knowledge of best practices and howownarea integrates with others; recommends product and process improvements.
• Able to work with a diverse team to achieve requirements and specifications on complex projects.
• Capability to provide andmaintainresource coordination and reporting, interfacing with other organizations and outside vendors on resource requirements.
• A critical thinker with proven ability to create effective solutions to complex engineering problems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to present design concepts to peers and management in a professional and effective manner.
• Ability to work in a team environment with aggressive deadlines and multiple priorities whilemaintaininga teamplayerattitude.
• Perform self-inspection of all work andis responsible forensuring that all work performed adheres to documentation requirements, companypoliciesand procedures.
