Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, ID is seeking a Senior Engineer for Site Inventory Control (SIC) to lead inventory and cycle-time initiatives across TD, HVM, and factory operations.

You will build data-driven dashboards, apply AI-enabled tools, and coordinate with multiple teams to optimize wafer starts, capacity, and output while maintaining flawless factory execution.

A background in engineering or data analytics with 3+ years in semiconductor manufacturing and strong SQL/Python skills is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in semiconductor manufacturing or factory management.
• Strong knowledge of fab process flow, MES, capacity planning, scheduling.
• Experience with data analysis and large data sets to drive decisions.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, Tableau/Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-functional initiatives for wafer starts and inventory.
• Develop inventory control methodologies, processes, and metrics; recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and implement inventory, priority, and capacity strategies for NPI programs.
• Coordinate TD, HVM, Supply Chain, Planning, and Engineering to optimize inventory and flow.
• Identify and mitigate constraints, risks, and opportunities in factory performance.
• Build data-driven reporting, dashboards, and decision-support tools.
